The Greater Kansas City Quality Assurance Association is a non-profit organization that provides a forum for Information Technology Professionals to promote Quality Assurance concepts, principles, and practices.

 What is KCQAA? Minimize
KCQAA was founded in 1987 as a nonprofit organization and a chapter of the Quality Assurance Institute. KCQAA is proud to be one of the first professional organizations to recognize the need for quality assurance in the Information Technology industry.
 KCQAA is supported by over 30 local companies and has over 150 area members. KCQAA promotes and supports software certifications such as the “Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)” and the “Certified Software Tester (CST)”. 
KCQAA provides monthly business meetings where members and visitors can network and exchange information on the latest technology and quality techniques.  Our monthly business meeting and informational presentations on quality attract a diversified field of IT professionals located in the Kansas City are.  The meetings are usually held on the 2nd Thursday of every month.
 
We provide our members with a quarterly newsletter, discounts on area meetings, seminars and conferences.
  
 Our Objectives Minimize
1.     Encourage and foster the exchange of Information Technology quality practices and promote quality improvement by:
o    Hosting local and national speakers.
o    Networking with other IT professionals.
o    Communicating quality-related activities and events.
o    Encouraging quality commitment and involvement in all levels of the IT profession.
2.     Promote quality professionalism by educating members in current and emerging quality concepts and methods through local and national opportunities.
3.     Increase quality professional awareness by:
o    Promoting and assisting in the professional certification processes.
o    Publicly recognizing individuals and corporations for contributing to quality improvement in their companies and communities.

Individual and Corporate memberships are available. Corporate memberships with three or more members qualify for a discount on annual membership dues according to the following schedule:

  • Individual member -- $ 36/year
  • 1-2 members -- $ 36/year (each)
  • 3-4 members -- $ 30/year (each)
  • 5-9 members -- $ 24/year (each)
  • 10+ members -- $18/year (each)
